For nearly a decade the World Alliance for Pentecostal Theological Education has brought together key educators from throughout the world. Every three years a congress has been convened, WAPTE team members have actively been involved in events related to member Associations and our involvement with the Pentecostal World Fellowship has deepened.
 
More recently new committees have been formed, worldwide participation has increased and the WAPTE journal has been revitalized with excellent editorial leadership. Representation from a wider variety of member churches such as the Church of God, Foursquare and others has also been most encouraging.
 
The Executive Director, Dr Barry Saylor has deeply impacted the operations and mission of WAPTE. I trust you have been inspired as you have read the various reports contained in this update. We are always looking for greater participation, vibrant dialogue around matters of Pentecostal theological education and the active participation of our constituency of educators in the Pentecostal World Fellowship. Please consider this an invitation for you to investigate the opportunities WAPTE affords.
