In our recent meeting, WAPTE’s board made the decision to update the name of our journal to Pentecostal Education (formerly The Pentecostal Educator) in order to better describe it’s intended aim and scope. We are also excited to announce new day-to-day leadership of the journal, with Miguel Alvarez as Executive Editor and Wonsuk Ma as the chair of WAPTE’s Resource and Research committee. More information on Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Ma can be found below. Serving as the Senior Editor for Pentecostal Education is Paul Alexander (Chair of the WAPTE board). Associate Editors are Jon Dahlager (Latin America), Doug Lowenberg (Africa), and Wonsuk Ma (North America), while Ulrik Josefsson (Europe) serves this committee as the Resource Coordinator. Pentecostal Education semiannually e-publishes scholarly and practical articles related to theological education within the Pentecostal tradition to encourage the continuing maturation of Pentecostal theological education. It is intentionally practical, applied, and international. The next issue of the journal will be released later this month. Watch for an email with more details. |
